Digg.com is now down. In today’s high availability world it is quite rare that a popular website ever goes down. Of course there are the occasional natural disasters which causes temporary geographical blackouts and downtime. Or if an ISP from another country takes over your IP address space you’re your site might go down (like YouTube). The only mainstream website that goes down often is the Apple Store which disappears from view whenever they add new inventory to their product line. Today it seems digg is added to that list.
