Songbeat Makes Music Download Easier With SeeqPod
What is the easiest way to get your hands on the latest music release? Restricting options to only legal ways to get your hands on some free music, Songbeat is an excellent option. No more illegal torrent downloads and risking million dollar lawsuits by RIAA. You can simply search for your favorite artists or a specific tune with Songbeat. TechCrunch posted a favorable review of the SeeqPod download client. You can install Songbeat on your computer and search across the internet for freely available content.

The legality of this program is a nice shade of grey. This cannot be any more clear than the Songbeat website which says … Songbeat says explicitly on its website that it “assumes no responsibility for any copyright infringements or legal issues” and insists that you “make sure that you have the right to download the music you have chosen.” Yea, that’s going to happen. If it sounds interesting to you try out the free ad-supported version.

This Songbeat program is cool, but the prospect of having to download a program to my computer makes me a little nervous. After all, this whole process is of questionable legality and I don’t need this evidence of potential wrongdoings on my computer.
Instead, I’ve been using http://sadsteve.com lately, which is a web-based client that allows for streaming, downloading, and even has some music reviews. Check it out – http://sadsteve.com
