Windows Live Search Comes To Handhelds
Google, Yahoo and you might take a break over Christmas and New Years. But Windows Live Search team does not take time off. The super human team has been diligently working on joining Google’s feat and has successfully created a mobile version of its Live Search platform. It features local search capabilities including business category, cuisine (restaurants); hours of operation (when available); photos (up to two); and reviews (up to ten) for U.S. businesses . For now it is only restricted to US but it is a good start from which the Live team can build up.
Point your mobile device browsers to http://m.live.com/ and search the web. There is also a downloadable version of the software from http://wls.live.com/ this site detects your phones model and software platform automatically and redirects to the appropriate application.
